Secure Remote Services gateway deregistration

Secure Remote Services enables Dell to address potential problems before there is an impact to your business, and to provide you with actionable intelligence and advice based on product-generated alerts and configuration files.

Prerequisites

The Secure Remote Services gateway has already been registered in Unisphere.

About this task

Secure Remote Services provides an automated health and system monitoring capability for your storage systems. It sends notifications to Dell Customer Support, sends data to Dell CloudIQ, and enables remote support where necessary.

To unregister a Secure Remote Services gateway:

Steps

  1. Select to open the Settings panel.
  2. Select Management > Secure Remote Services .
  3. Click Unregister.
    For an external connection, a dialog showing the Unisphere IP address and the Secure Remote Services gateway URL is displayed. For an internal connection, a dialog showing the list of storage systems and their associated configuration is displayed.
  4. Click OK.
